Day 30. My favorite song at this time last year: “Rainbow In The Dark” - Das Racist.

Day 29. A song from my childhood: “Yankee Rose” - David Lee Roth.

All I listened to when I was a kid was GNR, Motley Crue, David Lee Roth, Skid Row, Slaughter, etc. So I just picked Diamond Dave because I wore his cassettes out while riding the bus to school. I know, I was a cooler kid than you.

Ever “dated” a girl with a boyfriend before? Yea, me neither.

Day 27. A song that I wish I could play on an instrument: “3 MC’s And One DJ” - Beastie Boys.

I’ve always wished I could spin records. I’m still young. Some day…

Day 26. A song that I can play with an instrument: “Eruption” - Van Halen.

I can play Eddie’s solo on a keytar with my eyes closed.

This song gets all kinds of ridiculous at the 2:25 mark. There have been many nights I sang this song with Joe and Jon Joy. Good times.

Well, hopefully I don’t die any time soon, but if I do, please play this song. Then pour some liquor on the ground. My friends can DJ the rest of the service after this song plays.

Back when I thought I’d ever end up married, I always joked that I’d like to sing this song to my wife at our wedding reception.

No one does sad like Reznor. This song makes too much sense. Listen at your risk.

This song is incredibly uplifting. I turn it on every time my spirits are up and the sun is shining. Or every time I fall in love.
